Before, Before and After

Monica over at Pixel Perfect is hosting a fun Before & After photography blog hop today and I am joining in!
--

For Mother's Day last year I met up with my Mom, my Sister, and her kids,
at a local park for brunch and family pictures.

Prior to taking a group shot of everyone we took some pictures of my Mom & the Grandkids.

For the last few photos my mom got all the kids to make goofy faces with her.

 Cute.
(This pictures captures the youngest's personality perfectly!)

Unfortuntaely the goofiness carried over into our group shots.

One of my nieces thought it would be cute to give me bunny ears in every picture.
(And unfortunately we didn't notice until we were uploading the photos,
we were using a tripod to take the photos)

{Before #1}

With the exception of this one.
{Before #2}

Apparently she decided a crazy face would be better
(As did my the oldest niece and what my mom was doing I do not know.)

Of course this picture happens to be the only decent picture of me out of all the group shots.

So using the magic of Photoshop
(and putting to use the few things I managed to learn when I did attend my high school Graphic Communications class :),

I took my face from {Before 2}
and
placed it in {Before 1}
and erased my niece's arm and came up with this:

{After}

I will say my bunny-ear-giving-niece does look a little funny, but one person looking a little funny is better then most everyone looking crazy
(or me looking really BAD!)  :)

In the end I think we ended up with a decent picture of everyone.

(I am sure there were a lot of other things I could have done to edit and tweak this picture and make it even better, but by the time I finished the big edits I was d.o.n.e.)
